Sex Scandal: School Director's police remand extended

Hisar, Sep 15 (UNI) Political activists continued their agitation for the fourth day in protest against the alleged molestation of students by Vishwas School director Rishi Sagar whose police remand was extended for three days today.

The oppposition, BJP and the INLD workers, staged a dharna in the town and demanded a thorough probe in the functioning of the school where the girls were sexually harass.

SSP A S Chawla said the accused used to harass girl students on the pretext of giving guess papers to them.

Deputy Commissioner Fateh Singh Dagar, who addressed a meeting of parents and citizens concerned, said the report of the enquiry being conducted by the SDM and District Education Officer was expected tomorrow.

Asserting that girl students would not be made to suffer, Mr Dagar said as many as 30 committees of women social workers would be constituted in the district to keep a vigil on various schools.

All the schools had been advised to display the phone numbers of the DC, the SP and the SDM.
