Parth to take on Naresh boys under-17 final

Jaipur, Sep 15 (UNI) Parth Sharma will take on Naresh Kumar in the final of boys under-17 event of the Harish Chandra Golecha Memorial Rajasthan Open Squash Championship at Jaipur Club here today.

Local lad Parth routed Sandeep Jhangra (Mumbai) 10-9, 9-3, 9-0 while Naresh Kumar (SRFI) overcame downed Gunraj Singh (Mayo) 9-3, 9-6, 9-4 to set up the title clash.

Local star Surbhi Misra and Shivangi Paranjape will clash for the girls under-17 title. Top seed Surbhi dropped only seven points to defeat tanvi Jain 9-3, 9-0, 9-0, in the semi-final.

Shivangi also registered easy win over Dheeya Someya 9-2, 9-4, 9-0.

In semi-finals of boys under-13, Karan Tharyamal who is also pink city's talented player whipped Tushar Kothari 9-0,9-2, 9-0 and Deepak Misra overwhelmed Kush Kumar in five setter 9-3, 9-1, 0-9, 1-9, 9-2. All finals will be played tomorrow.
