Gandhinagar, Sep 15 (UNI) The state government officials of IAS cadre have been pormoted to the post of principal secretaries in various government bodies.

Gujarat Industrial Development Board (GIDB) vice chairman and Managing Director P K Poojari has been elevated to the rank of principal secretary in GIDB.

On the other hand, Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation Managing Director Mr D J Pandian has also been promoted to the rank of principal secretary.

Mr Hasmukh Adhia, who is on a two-year training course in Australia, has been promoted to the post of principal secretary.

Meanwhile, Vadodara Municipal Commissioner Mr R K Pathak (IAS) has been transferred to Gujarat Secondary and Higher Education Board, Gandhinagar as its chairman, and Mr Manoj Kumar Das who is presently in home ministry in will take his place as Municipal Commissioner of Vadodara.
