One held for possessing two passports

Hyderabad, Sep 15 (UNI) The South Zone Task Force sleuths today arrested one person for allegedly possessing two passports on different names.

Acting on a tip-off, the Task Force arrested Mirza Khaleel Baig and seized two Indian Passports issued on different names and addresses but bearing his photographs, a release said here today.

On interrogation, he confessed that he obtained the first passport in his original name and went to Sharjah where he worked as cashier in a super market.

During his stay at Sharjah, he visited Hyderabad and obtained another passport in 1999 by producing fake name, address and other particulars with an aim to leave for the US.

The accused and the seizures were handed over to Asif Nagar police station for further investigation, the release added.
