Modi bete noire Gordhan meets Nalin Bhatt
Vadodara, Sep 15 (UNI) Former minister and senior anti-Modi group leader Gordhan Jadapia today had a closed-door meeting with former minister Nalin Bhatt, who recently resigned from the party describing Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi as a ''dictator.'' The duo were reportedly closeted for an hour in the circuit house here. When contacted, Bhatt however, refused to divulge details of his talks with Jadapia.
Jadapia is the third senior dissident group leader to call on Nalin Bhatt, who was suspended from the party on August 27 for anti-party activities a day after a he organised a road-show and criticised the Modi government and the civil administration for alleged mismanagement in flood relief measures.
Soon after he resigned from the party on September 6 spitting venom against Modi and party's Gujarat affairs incharge Omprakash Mathur, rebel leaders Suresh Mehta and Siddharth Parmar had already held closed-door meetings with Bhatt to expressed their solidarity with the leader.
Meanwhile, Bhatt has issued an ultimatum to the Modi government to announce appointments of party workers and leaders to the 7,000-old vacant posts lying with different state-owned boards and corporations by September 24. Otherwise, Mr.Bhatt said, he would launch his peaceful agitational programme in the state from the very next day.
