Mah CM justifies action against suspended engineer
Mumbai, Sep 15 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh today justified the suspension of a senior engineer from state power distribution company ''Mahavitaran'' for cutting off power supply to his official residence in Nagpur.
Talking to mediapersons here, Mr Deshmukh said,''the manner in which the senior engineer L M Borikar had taken journalists to the Chief Minister's house and cut off electricity in their presence, is uncalled for.'' Earlier, Mr Deshmukh released a book written by Shobha Bondre called ''Mumbai cha Dabbewalla'' ( Mumbai's Dabbawallah) at Churchgate's footpath where the Dabbahwallas gather in the afternoon.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Deshmukh lauded the discipline, sincerity , organisation skills and trustworthiness of the Dabbahwallas and said the state and the entire country was proud of their achievements and recognition in the world.
