J'khand Advocate General Anil Kumar Sinha resigns
Ranchi, Sep 15 (UNI) Jharkhand High Court Advocate General Anil Kumar Sinha today submitted his resignation to governor Syed Sibtey Razi.
Talking to newspersons here, Mr Sinha said he was no longer interested in holding the post even if the new government asked him to continue.
He, however, said the state government and the district administration had supported him during his stint.
''Being the AG of Jharkhand, I got respect from all quarters of the state government,'' he said.
On July 22, 2002, Mr Sinha joined as AG during the regime of Chief Minister Babulal Marandi and continued for four and half years.
However, during the brief stint of Sibu Soren government he was removed but again reinstated when Mr Arjun Munda became the Chief Minister 18 months ago.
Mr Sinha passed his LLB course from Patna Law College and joined the Bar in 1976.
In 1996, the Patna High Court designated Mr Sinha as senior advocate.
