JK govt sanctions Rs 39.75 lacs to militancy victims
Srinagar, Sep 15: Jammu and Kashmir government has sanctioned ex-gratia relief to militancy affected people of south Kashmir district of Anantnag, an official spokesman said.
He said the District Screening Committee, Anantnag which met today under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Anantnag G A Peer sanctioned ex-gratia relief of Rs 39.75 lakh to 45 militancy related cases of the district.
The relief includes Rs 31 lakh for 31 death cases, Rs 2.25 lakh for 3 injured persons and Rs 6.50 lakh for 11 property damaged cases.
The meeting among others was attended by senior officers of Army, CRPF, Police and Revenue departments.
