IGZP will start fully equipped laboratory

Visakhapatnam, Sep 15 (UNI) The Animal Rescue Centre (ARC) of Indira Gandhi Zoological Park (IGZP) will start a fully equipped laboratory soon in the city.

In a release issued here, the zoo curator Vijay Kumar said the laboratory would have all equipment and facilities to perform different types of tests.

The lab was expected to be ready in a few months time and the entire upgradation process would cost Rs 40,000.

He said the lab was the first of its kind in the country to have unique facilities to conduct culture and sensitivity tests.
