Good business potentials in Nagpur and Aurangabad-- michael

Nagpur, sep 15 (UNI) US Consul General for India (western region) Michael Owen today said that there are tremendous scope to invest in Nagpur in Vidarbha region and Aurangabad in Marathwada where he finds good business opportunites for industrialists after Mumbai and Pune.

Speaking at the press-the meet programme, organised by Nagpur union of working journalists, Mr Michael said he would convince business houses in America to invest in this region.

Mr michael, has been on two- day visit to Nagpur since yesterday, today met a number of industrialists and their association and interacted with them.

He said in cooperation with Indian government , US would like to extend technologies in IT, IBM and other fields. This is possible for both the nations as international cargo hub is coming up in nagpur, he said.

Replying to a question, the consul said both India and America were facing menace of terrorism. America will surely help India to control the terrorism if such proposal is made by the Indian government, he added.
