Families of policemen killed by naxals to get salary

Hyderabad, Sep 15: Andhra Pradesh Government has decided to pay salary to the next of kin of the policemen killed by naxals till the date of the superannuation.

According to a decision taken by the government, family members of the slain policemen would get salary,increments and other benefits.

They would also be eligible for pension, gratuity and other terminal benefits.

The state government also decided to extend the facility to the families of 500 policemen killed earlier. The decision would cost the administration an additional Rs 2.11 crore.
