Dharna held against Pope's comments on Muslims

Machilipatnam, Sep 15 (UNI) About 500 Muslims here staged a dharna in front of the Krishna District Collector's office today, protesting against the recent comments made by Pope Bendict in Vatican city on Prophet Mohammed, which hurt the sentiments of the muslim community.

Holding placards, the protestors raised slogans against the Pope and sought an open apology.

Later, they submitted a memorandum to the District Revenue Officer (DRO) in this regard.
