Customers most important for Infosys: Shibulal
Alappuzha (Kerala), Sept 15: Divulging one of the secrets behind the success of the IT major Infosys, Co-founder and Group Head of Worldwide Sales and Customer Delivery S D Shibulal today said customers were most important for the company and the relationship with them was transparent and ethical.
Delivering a lecture on Curriculum Restructuring with Special Emphasis on Future Prospects and Possibilities in Information Technology at Cherthala S N College near here, he said the main element of Infosys's growth was its high-valued relationship with the customers and how the products were presented before them.
Mr Shibulal said one should have the ability to adapt to changes by grasping the movement and flexibility of the surroundings. It is a particular skill, which can be acquired by developing the vision for the future, he added.
He said Infosys is recruiting around 25,000 fresh graduates every year. The new economic policies, breaking the tie from 'Licence Raj', have given a fillip to the economic growth of the country, he added.
