Army convoy attacked; two soldiers wounded

Srinagar, Sept 15: At least two army personnel were injured when militants attacked an army convoy in north Kashmir, a Defence Ministry spokesman said.

He said militants today attacked the convoy with automatic weapons at Watergam on Baramulla-Handwara road in north Kashmir.

According to initial reports two soldiers were wounded in the attack.

Security forces immediately cordoned off the entire area and launched a massive operation to nab the militants, he added.
