Arms recovered, one held

Anand, Sep 15 (UNI) Police today raided a godown at Jalanagar in Chichodara village, 3 km from here, and recovered a cache of arms.

The raid was carried out by the Rapid Response (RR) cell personnel of Ahmedabad Range, in the wee hours and one Sarjubhai bhai Patel, native of Vadodara, was arrested from the premises and booked under the Arms Act.

The interrogation was on, police said.

The police said a 'tamancha'(locally made pistol), 2 rounds of magazine and three swords were recovered during the raid.
