3 Judicial Appointments

New Delhi, Sep 15 (UNI) The appointment of two Judges to Orissa High Court and an Additional Judge to Uttaranchal High Court by President APJ Abdul Kalam was announced today.

Orissa HC Additional Judges Jaya Prakash Mishra and Ashoke Kumar Samantaray have been appointed Judges of the Court in that order of seniority, a Law and Justice Ministry statement said.

It said the appointment will take effect from the day the Judges take charge of their respective office, the statement said.

The Ministry also announced the appointment of Dharam Veer as an Additional Judge of Uttaranchal HC.
