Arcot Veerasamy bereaved

Chennai, Sep 14 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Electricity Minister Arcot N Veerasamy's mother Jayammal died at a private hospital here this morning after prolonged illness She was 87.

Her body will be taken to her native district of Vellore and the funeral would take place tomorrow at 0700 hrs.

Chief Minister M Karunanidhi rushed to the hospital and paid his respects to the departed soul.
