Muslim body condemns Jaya's remarks against Hoda

Chennai, Sep 13 (UNI) The Tamil Nadu Muslim Munnetra Kazhagam (TMMK) today took exception to former Chief Minister and AIADMK General Secretary J Jayalalithaa describing former Home Secretary Syed Munir Hoda as 'anti-national.' In a statement here, TMMK President M H Jawahirullah said Mr Hoda after the IAS officer was appointed Secretary to the chief minister after the previous AIADMK regime had suspended him.

It was amusing that Ms Jayalalithaa, who was facing corruption cases herself, was pointing an accusing finger at Mr Hoda, he said, adding, this amounted to Ms Jayalalithaa launching a war against the minority Muslim community.

Ms Jayalalithaa's remarks against Mr Hoda deserved severe condemnation, he said.
