Jharkhand HC Gets CJ, Madras HC 2 Additional Judges
New Delhi, Sep 13 (UNI) Madras High Court Judge Muthusamy Karpagavinayagam has been appointed Chief Justice of the Jharkhand High Court by President APJ Abdul Kalam, it was announced today.
His appointment takes effect from the day he takes charge of his office, a statement by the Law and Justice Ministry said.
Also announced was the appointment of two judicial officers-- P R Shivakumar and G Rajasuria-- as Additional Judges of the Madras High Court.
The two appointees in that order of seniority will have a two year term each with effect from the dates they assume charge of their respective office, an announcement said.
