IMFL worth Rs 4.65 lakh seized

Anand, Sept 13 (UNI) Local Crime Branch seized Indian made foreign liquor (IMFL) near Boriyavi village, 8 kms from here on the Ahmedabad-Mumbai highway in the wee hours today.

IMFL, in 132 crates containing 1,632 bottles worth Rs 4.65 lakh, was seized from a tempo in which it was being carried, police sources said. The driver of the tempo Ajit Abbas Pujabhai Vaghela of Manursar village of Vadodara was also arrested and his mobile phone confiscated.

The interrogation of the driver is on, according to police sources.
