High Court issues arrest warrant against SP

Patna, Sep 13 (UNI) Patna High Court today issued warrant of arrest against the Superintendent of Police, Samastipur, and officer-in-charge of Chakmausi police station for their failure to comply its directive in a murder case.

A single bench of Justice Navin Sinha also directed the police superintendent to personally appear before the court by September 22 to explain why the proceeding of contempt of the court should not be initiated against him.

Earlier the court had directed both the police officials to submit the viscera report of a deceased during hearing of the anticipatory bail petition of the accused in the case. But the concerned police officials had failed to comply directive of the court.
