hawkers agitation disrupt train services
Kolkata, Sep 13 (UNI) Train services on Bandel-Katwa section of Eastern Railway's Howrah division were disrupted from 12.48 hours due to a blockade by hawkers at Tribeni and Khamargachhi stations today.
The hawkers called the blockade as two hawkers were apprehended by the RPF during a special drive against unauthorised hawkers on September 12.
Normal train services resumed at 13.40 hours.
As a result, three trains were detained for about one hour twenty minutes each en route on an average.
