Dry weather continues in Delhi
New Delhi, Sep 13 (UNI) With rainfall activity remaining confined mainly to Northeastern States and South Peninsula during the past 24 hours, it was another dry day here today even though clouds and North Westerly winds brought some relief from humid conditions.
Overcast sky and Northwesterlies brought the maximum temperature down to 35 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature was 25 degrees Celsius.
After bountiful rains in the last week of August, which saw the capital receive 210 mm of rainfall, Delhi has witnessed dry weather conditions all through the last week.
The dryness in the weather is likely to remain for the next few days with weather office forecasting only isolated rainfall in Jammu and Kashmir. Dry weather over Himachal Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh during the next 48 hours have been predicted by weathermen.
In Delhi, weathermen have forecast a partly cloudy sky with possibility of rain or thundershowers in some areas during the next 24 hours.
