Director sacked, 4 arrested in Hisar molestation case

Hisar, Sep 13 (UNI) Police today arrested four people, including the director of Vishwas Public School here, on charges of molesting a student.

Rishi Sagar Vishwas, director of the school, has been sacked by the school management after he was arrested by the police.

Besides Rishi, Rishi Gautam Vishwas, Rishi Piyush Vishwas and Rishi Pushap Vishwas were arrested in connection with the case which has triggered public outrage.

Deputy Commissioner Fateh Singh Dagar today said the District Education Officer and Sub Divisional Education Officer have been directed to gather all facts concerning the incidence of alleged molestation of a girl student by the Director of the school and submit their report at the earliest.

Section 144 has been imposed with effect from today in the district to maintain peace. Those found violating these orders would be dealt with sternly, Mr Singh said.

He said that these orders would remain in force till further orders and accused would not be spared.

He urged the students to maintain calm. He made it clear that those found damaging public property and disturbing peace and tranquility would invite stern action.

The Deputy Commissioner also sought the cooperation of the students and their parents in maintaining law and order.
