7-year-old girl raped, murdered

Patan, Gujarat, Sep 13 (UNI) A seven-year-old shepherd girl was found raped and murdered in Gaggalasan village in Siddhpur taluka yesterday, about 30 km from here.

The girl's uncle Jaswantji Diwaji who filed a complaint late last evening, said the girl had left home to graze cattle yesterday morning.

Some unknown person had raped and then murdered her, according to the complaint.
