Woman raped by brother-in-law

New Delhi, Sep 12 (UNI) A 24-year-old woman today alleged that she had been raped by her brother-in-law in Gokulpuri area of North-East Delhi.

In her complaint the woman said she was raped on the night of September 10 by her brother-in-law Parvesh when she was alone in her room, according to sources.

When she narrated the incident to her husband, she was asked to keep quiet as it involved the family's reputation.

But after the brothers of the victim were told about the incident they reported the matter to the police today, sources added.

Police said they were investigating the matter and trying to nab the accused who fled after the matter was reported.
