Three engineering students arrested for ragging

Nellore, Sep 12 (UNI) Three engineering students of the Visvodaya Institute of Technical Education, Kavali, were arrested for ragging their junior and sent to 15 days judicial custody today.

Ch Vijay Kumar (23) of Vijayawada, who passed out recently, M Ranjit Kumar (20), a fourth year student and Chandramohan (21), a third year student, were arrested on charges of ragging one of their juniors, Yashwant Reddy, last night.

Yashwant lodged a complaint with the police.

Earlier, the management had suspended two students from the college on ragging charges.
