Passenger with tampered passport arrested at Raja Sansi airport
Amritsar, Sep 12 (UNI) A passenger who had alighted from an Air India flight from Tronoto at the Raja Sansi airport here was detained by the immigration authorities after his passport was found to be ''tampered.'' The passenger, identified as Gurdip Singh from Muktsar district, was handed over to the Punjab Police and arrested under the Passport Act.
A case was registered at the Raja Sansi police station.
