One killed as bus rams into stationary truck

Hubli, Sep 12 (UNI) One passenger was killed and 15 others were injured when a State transport corporation bus rammed into a stationary truck near Devagiri cross on Pune-Bangalore national highway in Haveri district, today.

Police said the bus was on its way to Gadag from Bangalore when the mishap occurred.

The deceased was identified as Kallapa Neelammanvar (40) of Adargunchi village of Hubli Taluk. The injured were admitted to Haveri district hospital.
