Mixed trend in precious metals

Mumbai, Sep 12: Mixed trend was seen in the precious metals in the opening session, traders at the bullion market today said.

Following were today's opening spot rates : Silver (per kg) .999 fineness grade : Rs 18,245, Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint: : Rs 8,995, Gold 99.9 purity variety : Rs 9,045.
