Inquiry ordered into Punjab CM chopper mishap
Chandigarh, Sep 12 (UNI) The Punjab government has ordered an inquiry into the near-crash of the helicopter, carrying Chief Minister Amarinder Singh and six others, including two Cabinet Ministers at Rajowa village in Gurdaspur district today.
This decision was announced by Chief Secretary K R Lakhanpal after a meeting with state Home Secretary, Secretary Civil Aviation and Director General of Police (DGP) here, an offical spokesman said.
The Chief Secretary has directed the Secretary, Civil Aviation to have a detailed inquiry conducted in consultation with Director General of Civil Aviation, Government of India.
