ICRA assigns mfA2 to Taurus Liquid Fund
New Delhi, Sep 12 (UNI) Credit rating agency ICRA today assigned a credit risk rating-- mfA2 to the Taurus Liquid Fund (TLF).
ICRA assigns this above-average-credit-quality short-term rating to debt funds. The scale applies to debt funds with weighted average maturity up to one year.
The rated fund carries higher credit risk than funds rated mfA1, with such risk being similar as that associated with short-term debt obligations rated in the above-average-credit-quality category.
The rating is constrained by limited track record of the fund house in managing debt schemes.
The above scheme is a proposed mutual fund scheme of Taurus Mutual Fund to be managed by Taurus Asset Management Ltd (TAMCO).
The AMC managed assets of around Rs 2 billion as on July 31, 2006 and is amongst the smallest players in the Indian Mutual Fund Industry.
