Helicopter carrying state CEO makes force landing

Kolkata, Sep 12 (UNI) The helicopter carrying West Bengal Chief Electoral Officer Debashis Sen to north Bengal force landed near Farakka in Malda district this afternoon following a squall.

Mr Sen was on his way to Malda to oversee arrangements regarding the bypoll to the Malda Lok Sabha seat on September 16.

Aviation sources told UNI that after the weather improved the helicopter took off once agagin and landed safely in Malda around 1600 hours.
