Eight Naxaltes escape in Karnataka

Udupi, Karnataka, Sep 12 (UNI) Eight naxalities who today visited a house at Kolkebail near Demogare in Shankaranarayana police station limits in the district escaped when they became aware of a police patrol.

According to sources, the naxalites entered the house of Chandra Nayak but when they saw the police, they escaped into the nearby forest.

However, Superintendent of Police Subramanyeshwara Rao, when contacted over phone, denied any such incident had taken place.
