BSNL reduces ILD tariffs for Sri Lanka, Middle East

Mumbai, Sep 12 (UNI) Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has decided to reduce the International Long Distance (ILD) tariffs for Sri Lanka and Middle East countries with effect from October one.

BSNL sources informed that it has been decided to reduce ILD tariffs for Sri Lanka by 40 per cent and Middle East countries like Kuwait, Bahrain, UAE, Oman and Qatar by 20 per cent.

The decision was taken in order to offer customers a good choice and to stay ahead of competitiors as these sectors have the maximum call traffic from India.

As per the new tariffs, the charges for Sri Lanka have been reduced to Rs 7.2 per minutes as against existing Rs 12 and for Middle East countries the rates have been reduced from Rs 12 a minute to Rs 9.6 a minute.
