BJP will topple JD(S)-BJP Govt in K'taka: Siddaramaiah
Gulbarga, Sep 12 (UNI) Former Deputy Chief Minister and Congress leader Siddaramaiah today predicted that the BJP will itself topple the coalition Government it was running in the State with the JD(S).
Addressing a press conference here, he said the Opposition Congress was not interested in creating any trouble to the coalition Government, but it might face problems from the BJP itself.
On the Congress' recent convention in Bangalore, he said it was organised only to strengthen the party in the State. He had joined the party without aspiring for any post. Some MLAs, including those from the ruling parties, were showing interest in joining the Congress, he added.
Criticising the Government's pet project of developing 1,000 villages in the State by spending Rs 1,000 crore, he said if funds were not alloted, how can such a huge amount be generated.
