Itanagar, Sept 11: The Arunachal Pradesh government was contemplating to constitute a workers' welfare board to look after the grievances of the workers in the state.

The board would look into various pros and cons of the welfare of the labour class and suggest the state government on various aspects governing the work force, said state Labour Minister Tatar Kipa.

Seeking help from the labourers to check drainage of revenue, the Minister said the projected revenue in the state was not making any major headway, for which the state government was facing hardship to carry out infrastructural development activities.

Reacting to the much-talked alleged engagement of labourers by government officials of the state at the cost of its exchequer, the Labour Minister, in a bid to stop such practices, announced lucrative prizes for the persons giving such information to the government.
