UNLF leader undergoing treatment at Imphal

Imphal, Sep 11 (UNI) The General Secretary of the United National Liberation Front (UNLF) is undergoing treatment at the Manipur Rifles hospital, Imphal.

Kh Ibotombi, a top brass of the militant outfit was brought to Imphal by a special Indian Air Force aeroplane from Coimbatore, where he was apprehended on September 5, police said.

Khundongbam Ibotombi had been caught with Salam Bunka, one of his aide, who is now at the Imphal police station. A special team of Manipur Police had gone to Coimbatore to being the two UNLF cadres to Imphal.

A laptop, a cell phone, Rs 35,000 in cash were seized from them.
