Unclaimed bag creates panic

Jalandhar, Sep 11 (UNI) An unclaimed bag at the entrance of the Army Cantonment area along the GT Road here today, created panic.

The bag, which was lying in the bushes on the road-side near the Cantonment area gate this morning, however contained no explosives.

The police and the army authorities immediately swung into action. Sniffer dogs and bomb disposal squad were summoned to check the bag, an official spokesman said.

The bag contained only some balloons and toys, he added.
