Special focus on hilly and backward areas: Minister

Jammu, Sep 11 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Minister of State for Agriculture, Forests and Higher Education Aijaz Ahmed Khan has reiterated the firmness of the coalition government in the state to provide justice to all irrespective of any regional bias by making the administration pro-active and more responsive to people.

While addressing a public rally at Mahore in Udhampur district yesterday, the Minister called upon the people to extend their cooperation to the government in ensuring fast development of their areas.

The Minister, while enumerating the achievements of the coalition government, said the ban on employment in government jobs had been lifted, friendly relations developed between two neighbouring countries, packages worth crores of rupees announced and over 30,000 RETs were appointed purely on merit.

Mr Khan asked the people not to be misled by the propaganda by vested interests, who would try their level best to create a division among them by spreading false rumours.
