Leads in Malegaon blasts probe achieved : Pasricha

Mumbai, Sep 11 (UNI) Maharashtra Director General of Police P S Pasricha today said the investigators into the Malegaon blasts probe had gained vital leads and expressed confidence that a breakthrough will be achieved soon.

Talking to reporters Dr Pasricha said the sketches of two suspects in the Malegaon blasts were released based on inputs given by the shopkeeper from whom the two new bicycles were purchased. No arrests have been made so far, he added.

''The course of the investigations in Malegaon blasts is on the right track,'' he pointed out.

When asked about the progress of investigations in the 7/11 Mumbai bomb blasts. Dr Pasricha said, ''We are on the job. The total number of arrests made is ten.'' UNI MR GB akj ht1245
