Israeli troops kill West Bank Palestinian: Medics
Jenin (West Bank), Sept 11: Undercover Israeli forces shot and killed a Palestinian man today and wounded two others near the West Bank town of Jenin, medics said.
The Israeli army had no immediate comment on the incident.
Witnesses said the troops opened fire on a car headed from the village of Roumane towards Jenin, a northern West Bank city, killing Roumane's council head.
Jenin has been a frequent target of Israeli raids against Palestinian militants.
Israeli troops killed four Palestinian militants of the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, a group linked to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas's Fatah movement, in another village near Jenin on Thursday.
