HCL, GE partner for global development centers

New Delhi, Sep 11 (UNI) IT major HCL Technologies today said General Electric Company (GE) has selected it as one of its partners for setting up Global Development Centers (GDC) in India and China for GE over three years.

''Our leadership in the areas of multi-service offerings, flexibility and transparency in business models are contributing to our demonstrated track record of high value, cost effective partnerships,'' said HCL America President Shami Khorana.

HCL America, a 100 per cent subsidiary of HCL, is excited about this partnership and will continue to deliver the near shore alternatives and LCC leverage to GE, he said.

Vice President and Head of Enterprise Consulting Services Division at HCL America Ravi Reddy said, ''This is a significant win for HCL as it leverages our vast domain and deep technology expertise.'' UNI SRS PV SSC1240
