FIR against JD(U) MLA

Patna, Sep 11 (UNI) An FIR was registered against JD(U) MLA Anant Singh for threatening a businessman, Vijay Kumar Yadav, here today.

Police said that the Patna based hotel owner had lodged an FIR against Mr Singh in Kotwali police station, in which he alleged that the MLA and his goons made threatening calls in the last two months to terrorise him to vacate his hotel.

'Goons of Mr Singh threatened me with fire arms and disrupted the running of my business,'' Mr Yadav alleged in his complaint.

Mr Yadav said that he had earlier informed the district administration in this connection but no action had been taken as yet.
