Fake notes seized in Bengal

Barasat, Sep 11 (UNI) Two people were arrested and fake notes seized from Madhyamgram in the North 24 Parganas district last night.

Police today said the arrest was made when the person was purchasing ornaments from Basunagar jewellery shop in the area, paying fake notes of Rs 500 denominations.

Following interrogation, another person, involved in the racket was also arrested, police added.

The arrested were produced before the court today.
