Bus plunges into ditch; 1 dead

Badwani, MP, Sep 11 (UNI) A 65-year-old woman has been killed and five other passengers injured when a Madhya Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation bus -- en route from Shirdi to Bhopal -- overturned on the Agra-Mumbai National Highway and plunged into a ditch, due to the driver's carelessness, seven km from this district's Sendhwa, police said.

The deceased in late last night's mishap was identified as Kesarbai Jadhav from Maharashtra's Chalisgaon.

The injured were admitted to the government hospital at Sendhwa.

The driver was absconding.
