BJP refrains from commenting on J D (U) problems
New Delhi, Sep 11 (UNI) BJP today refrained from commenting on the problems within its NDA ally the Janata Dal (United), where its former President is at loger heads with his successor Sharad Yadav and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
Asked about the reports that Mr Yadav had sought the NDA Chairman Atal Bihari Vajpayee to reign in Mr Fernandes who is also Convenor of the NDA, BJP Spokesman Ravi Shankar Prasad said the party does not make any comments on internal affairs of an NDA partner.
The goings within J D (U) has not been smooth after Mr Fernandes was replaced by Mr Sharad Yadav several months ago.
