Ancient 'ashtadhatu' idols seized
Siddharthnagar, Sep 11 (UNI) Police have arrested a 'sadhu' for allegedly possessing three ancient 'ashtadhatu' idols estimated at Rs 10 lakh under the Miyaulia area here.
The idols of Lord Krishna-Radha and goddess Mahalakshmi were stolen from a temple in Chetia market on Saturday, police today said.
The accused, Saligram, a native of Nakahi village, was nabbed yesterday, when he was on his way to sell the idols.
A case has been registered against the accused.
