2 Indian fishermen missing after SL naval attack
Thanjavur (Tamil Nadu), Sep 11: Two fishermen were reported missing after allegedly coming under attack from Sri Lankan Naval personnel.
According to sources, Sakthivel, Sahafath, Balu and Selvamani ventured into the sea for fishing from Seruthoor Village in neighbouring Nagapattinam District on Saturday when the Lankan Navy 'attacked' them.
While, Sahafath and Selvamani managed to swim back to safety, the other two went missing. The authorities are enquiring into the incident, they added.
