SPICMACAY to host Virasat in Bismillah's memory

Surat, Sep 10: The Society for Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Among Youth (SPICMACAY) will host a week-long cultural festival here from September 13 in memory of the late maestro Bismillah Khan.

The event, 'Virasat-06', will be held at the Sardar Vallabhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT) here.

Artistes like Darshana Zaveri and Teejan Bai would participate in the festival, the organisers informed.

A film festival has also been planned from September 15 to 17 when classics of Satyajit Ray, Charlie Chaplin and Akira Kurosowa will be screened.
